Death of Sardonopolis

Same day as below. I'm copying more of Delacroix, this time from a study he made from his Death of Sardonopolis. My friend Wes Lyles, a genius, spent much of our college years trying to update this legendary painting. Please note the varying cup sizes.

  1. Dude, still bigger gazongas.

    Also, riddle me this, Batman:
Did the animators of The Flintstones or The Jetsons ever amuze themselves by making little Fred-n-Wilma pornos? Or a Barney/Betty/Wilma threesome?

  2. A technical note: A gazonga is not considered present until the nipple is depicted.

Riddle answer: Chuck Jones claims this was commonplace with the Looney Tunes animators, Pepe le Pew, in particular (Fresh Air interview). It can be assumed that Hanna Barbara was no different. It could explain why animation is done overseas now.

  3. Wow I just noticed yesterday that the Mommy in "Family Circus" by Bil Keane has quite a nice rack. You don't suppose that Bil Keane... naah!

But what about Mort Walker? He seems like the kind that would draw Miss Buxom biting a pillow while getting impaled by a helmet-wearing Beetle.
