Yep, it's Big Barda, one of my favorite Jack Kirby Fourth World characters. It may have something to do with the dark mane and fiery temper. She's not the first animated/comic character I've been attracted to; a short list would include Jane Jetson, Gwen Stacey (-snif-), Wonder Woman (animated version), and - dare I say it- Kim Possible? Yep, it's Big Barda, one of my favorite Jack Kirby Fourth World characters. It may have something to do with the dark mane and fiery temper. I gotta confess having a "thang" for Daphne in the Scooby Doo movies. Not the old tee vee series, the latterday movies, like Scooby Doo and the Alien Invaders, or Scooby Doo and the Loch Ness Monster. They let Daphne off her leashe, let her ware clothes other than teh stupid 60s minidress, and gave her some talents other than her "talents". She could surf, man! I was stoked!
