Inspired by the recent Wizardcon Comic Convention I attended last weekend. An amalgam of a type I see less and less of at these things. Guys in their late 50's and 60's, hideously single, hoarders, obsessive-compulsive, bad kidneys. Scrabbling through comic boxes looking for issues of Little Lulu, Warren Publishing titles, maybe some Veronica and Jugghead books, new issues of Catwoman, etc. You get the picture and it's not a pretty one. Almost Extinct

Scrabbling through comic boxes looking for issues of Little Lulu, Warren Publishing titles, maybe some Veronica and Jugghead books, new issues of Catwoman, etc. You get the picture and it's not a pretty one.

I'm recalling the old fella we bumped into in Denver who was chuckling about Roger Moore getting too old to play Bond anymore. You kept sniffing and muttering "With bad kidneys like that he won't last too much longer"
