Roger-Roger

Drawn in an Applebee's in Marshalltown, Iowa, waiting for dinner. I'm sure I was channeling my son playing Star Wars "Battlefront". For some reason I felt the urge to re-design the battle-droid.

  1. What I want to know is why the battle droids had to say "Roger" at all, much less twice. They were centrally controlled, right? And Little Anakin takes them all out with a lucky shot to the Trade Federation ship. The Trade Federation engineers really didn't understand distributed systems, or the concept of "redundancy".

  2. My son lost on a Star Wars trivia question by referring to a battle droid as a "roger-roger" instead of a battle droid.
